Shift and Community Volunteers Needed

ACTS (A Community That Shares) volunteers are needed Monday, Wednesday and Friday.  Two shifts available each day begining 9:00 AM to 12:30 and 12:30 to 4:00 PM  

New volunteers will be trained by senior volunteers for several shifts. Preferences for which day and time you want to volunteer will most likely be accomadated 

Duties associated with our Shift volunteer positions can be varied and depend on the expertise and experience you bring to our organization.  Some of these duties include:

    • Answer office phones and taking inquiries about Convalesent equipment availability.
    • Properly record equipment loans, returns, and 120 day loan extensions
    • Basic cleaning of returned equipment
    • General cleanup of the work area and office
 
Equipment maintenance can be performed by volunteers.  Repair experience is helpful but not required. 

 The warehouse is manned on Saturday, 10AM – 1PM, for the purpose of returns, pickups as well as equipment repairs.  

Community Volunteers can be utilized to help support the mission of ACTS throught various means, such as the delivery and pick up of equipment due to the Clients inability to return or pick up at the ACTS location.
